This is an open, inclusive mediumship development circle.
All levels are welcome — whether you’re new, returning, or already working regularly.
John Doherty offers a grounded, supportive space for spiritual and mediumistic development, where each participant is met exactly where they are. Working as a cohesive group, the focus is on deepening awareness, strengthening trust, and refining communication with Spirit — without pressure, hierarchy, or performance.
Across the sessions, themes may include:
- Understanding your own mind and inner landscape
- Letting go of over-thinking and rational interference
- Developing clairaudience, clairsentience, and clairvoyance
- Learning to read, sense, and work with energy
- Types of energy connection and energetic hygiene
- Deepening the quality, clarity, and evidence of information received from Spirit
- Learning to trust yourself and what comes through
- Exploring the difference between psychic awareness and mediumship
- Different types of mediumship and how they work
- Strengthening the three-way connection:
- Spirit – your own soul – the soul of the recipient
- Connecting with your guide and developing your power
- Giving messages from your guide
- Connecting with loved ones in Spirit and bringing them through
- Developing evidence: interviewing guides and loved ones to obtain clearer, stronger evidence
- Recognising and working with multiple communicators
- Staying present and aware during sittings and group work
- Communicating with sensitivity, integrity, and compassion
- Language, phrasing, and ethical awareness in Spirit communication
- Giving messages that support healing
- Safe opening, closing, and working practices with Spirit
- Ethical practice in mediumship
- An overview of spiritualism and its foundations
This is not about perfection.
It’s about presence, honesty, and development over time.
