Description: In a fast-paced and ever-changing world, individuals are increasingly seeking meaning, purpose, and balance in their lives. This comprehensive course on modern spirituality is designed to empower participants on their journey of self-discovery, personal & Spiritual growth, and professional development. Grounded in contemporary perspectives on spirituality, this course embraces diversity and inclusivity, offering practical tools and insights applicable to various belief systems and lifestyles.
Venue: Weekends take place at The Sanctuary Centre, Stanhope Street in Dublin, Ireland. After each weekend in person there is are 6 Zoom Online Wednesday evening sessions.
Outcomes: The program can be taken for personal development with an attendance certificate at the end or can be taken for professional development with assignments after each module and a CPD certificate upon completion.
Dates for 2024 / 2025
The Timeframe and Themes are as follows:
4 weekends in-person and 1 full day at the end, 6 online sessions on Zoom on Wednesday nights after each weekend followed by a week off and an assignment.
1st Weekend Saturday and Sunday 10am-4.30pm @The Sanctuary
October 12 and 13th
Theme: Entering the Castle. In this weekend we will explore the spiritual domain as separate yet connected to the personal or within a tradition. We will explore the deeper inner journey and how this invites us to encounter our own direct spiritual awareness.
6 Wednesdays: 16th, 23rd and 30th Oct, 6th, 13th and 20th Nov Online
Theme: The Spiritual Journey, using mindfulness and ritual we will journey together into the deep present, inviting all the parts of ourselves to be here with us. We will explore the challenges and pitfalls that face us in life and how spirituality can resource us in meeting these.
2nd Weekend Saturday and Sunday 10am-4.30pm @The Sanctuary
January 2025 11th and 12th
Theme: A cosmo biological experience of the eternal now. In this weekend we will explore our biography and how that relates to our spiritual growth and identity opening a pathway to discover our inner monastery or temple.
6 Wednesdays: 15th, 22nd, 29th Jan, 5th, 12th and 19th Feb Online
Theme: The Inner Monastery, using mindfulness and meditation we will encounter our inner monastery and connect into a sense of the sacred within and without.
3rd Weekend Saturday and Sunday 10am-4.30pm @ The Sanctuary
8th and 9th March 2025
Theme: Spiritual Wellbeing, in this weekend we will explore our connection to spirituality and how it changes and challenges our perceptions of how we are in the world and how we relate to others, evoking empathy, gratitude and compassion.
6 Wednesdays: 12th, 19th, 26th March, 2nd, 9th, 16th April Online
Theme: Spiritual Wellbeing, continuing the weekend exploration we will co-create practices and ritual for daily living that are supportive, nourishing, and self-loving.
4th Weekend Saturday and Sunday 10am-4.30pm @The Sanctuary
3rd and 4th May 2025
Theme: Spirituality & Mindfulness, bring the spiritual into your practice to add a deep layer of potential and enhance the outcome of your inner work. This weekend will focus on deep meditation and awareness of the energy of the spiritual and what that means.
6 Wednesdays: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th May, 4th, 11th June Online
Theme: Spiritual mindfulness and ritual for daily living and within the workplace. This teaching will explore how we can live within the container of a spiritual life at both personal and professional levels.
Final Day in August Sunday 24th 10am-4.30pm @ The Sanctuary
Theme: Practical demonstration from students, course awards and celebration. Further options for study
