Los Salesianos Retreat Centre
Col·legi Nostra Senyora de la Pietat – Salesians (el Campello)
The retreat centre is located right on the beautiful Playa de Muchavista, a 5-mile-long stretch of beach. Playa de Muchavista. It’s only a 2-minute walk from the sea, with several cafés and restaurants nearby. The bedrooms are small but clean and en-suite (around 3*). They have Wi-Fi and air-con that can also be a heater. There is a cafe on the grounds and at the bottom of the hill on the beachfront there are more restaurants and cafes. Meals are available on-site in the retreat centre canteen (mainly Spanish food, special diets can be catered for if you tell us in advance)

You’d need a tram into Alicante City and a bus to the airport if travelling independently.
Nearest tram stop: Salesians C3 Line (directly beside the retreat centre)
Runs south to Alicante and north to Benidorm

No direct link from the airport to El Campello.

El Campello Town
El Campello is a peaceful coastal town with shops, bars, cafés, and a lovely promenade. Playa de El Campello – Google Maps

Nearest emergency hospital: San Juan, about 15 minutes away.
Weather in Campello in January
It is Sunny most days and typical daily highs in January are around 16–17 °C and lows around 6–7 °C, Although it gets dark the same as in Ireland but Spain is 1 hour ahead.
Optional Extra Nights
You’re welcome to arrive early or stay longer at the retreat centre for €80 per night (bed & breakfast). If you’d like to add extra nights, please let us know as soon as possible, as space is limited.
The town is safe and family-friendly, popular with visitors all year round. If you’d like extra comfort before or after the retreat, there are many hotels and Airbnbs nearby — ideally near the beach area.
